Just finished the first of 3 cargo door installs on my 1998
Burro 17wb. I purchased them off ebay for about $40 each a while back and finally cutting holes! Sizes 2 rear door 30” x 8” and left front is 14” x 11”. Made a template, taped the perimeter to prevent any scratches and started cutting. After the opening was made, used 2” x 2” wood to make an inside frame to screw the door frame to. Countersunk holes so as to keep the mounting surface flat, also used some construction adhesive. After test fitting door I used tape around perimeter and on door frame to help lessen any mess from oozing sealant. Mounted, clamped well and used a 90 degree drill attachment to drill and sink stainless steel screws. Cleaned up tape and a little extra sealant and it looks like it was always there. Now 2 more....
