I don't want to weaken the structure of the burro. is this something that I can do or does it need to be done by a pro. I have done many jobs from building houses to plumbing but I have never drilled into fiberglass. As always I appreciate all help. Thanks

As far as a bag
awning goes, I think most folks like the supreme better than the classic from what I've read from postings. It won't hurt your Burro to install it. Drilling a hole through FG won't hurt the shell. It seems that many on this site don't like the idea of extra holes because of a possible leak but that can be eliminated by proper sealing. Many threads you could look up for reference. There have also been members that have used VHB tape to secure the "C" track to the shell, along with
solar panels also with great results. Some travel with the bag on the trailer and some remove it and carry it inside. You've got more than enough experience to do it, it's just getting over the idea of drilling that first hole
I have no idea of the length you need, others will chime in soon that have Burros.
