Wow!
I'm happy to see that this thread still lives and that people keep posting their serial numbers. Thanks all!
Maybe one day when I have time, I'll get back in an list the numbers out in full.

I think this is an interesting topic. And I think I was here quite a long while ago. I may have had posted my boler info on this site as my name appears here. I have changed everything in my boler in 2018. And will post a photo or two today. I have to find photo bucket log in LOL

Well if my theory is right about the various serial numbers, I postulate that yours is the first one produced.
That is if the ones produced in the factory with 1000 series, started before the other factories started producing the 3000 and 5000 series serial numbers. So far I have not seen any that start with an even number.
Just got wind of a boler with a California tag on it saying the serial # was in the 7000 range produced in 1972. AFAIK it does not have a boler American tag on it, yet it does have a very rare FMVSS sticker on it.
I sure wish Matt, H stuck around. I understand he dug up a couple of the missing pieces for his documentary. He did not disclose them as he didn't want to spoil the documentary. "Spoiler Alerts"
I'm trying to follow up on it. Waiting for the owner to respond.

1972 Boler American
I just recently bought what was listed as and I thought was a 1973 Boler. The Minnesota title says 1973 Boler serial number 1012. When I removed the “new” crank with two wheels for easy moving, underneath was the American Boler ID plate with the serial number 1012. It had been redone in 2012 and someone remove the American badges. The rivets and holes are still there. So yeah, I am so happy to own this small piece of fiberglass rv history. I will post pictures soon.

Welcome to FGRV Marty. I was able to find a replacement set on eBay a few years back. Seek and ye shall find.
OTOH I have been considering making some silicone molds from the ones I have. Just not sure what to use to reproduce them.
Perhaps they could be scanned & replicated with a 3D printer. Then again, I wouldn't know what to use.

New Boler Mom
Hi all, I’m a new American Boler owner. my serial number is 3054. Can anyone tell me the significance of that serial number, maybe the year of my camper? It didn’t come with any paperwork or title, so I am unclear as to how old it is. I live in Somerset, Wisconsin. It is currently getting new gel coat and some fiberglass repair. Can anyone tell me what they’ve done to finish the inside where the Ensolite was? has anyone used a spray system? Hoping for some good suggestions.

I read the serial number as 3083 on the tag in the photo...
Might be '72 Boler?

Some may have been built in 1971, but I am pretty sure they were all a 1972 Model year.
Retirement is coming soon for me. Hopefully I will have more time to work on the history & post my findings. I need some help from some of the members though.
