Trillium axle finally installed!

Hi Folks,
Thanks to all those that offered advice, I ended up having the new Flexiride axle put on without having to remove the shell from the frame. I went w/ the Flexiride adjustable as many of you suggested, starting at 22 degrees down and I've got plenty of clearance and options to dial it in. I also had the optional side mount brackets welded to the frame and bolted my axle to them. I am going w/ a bigger and taller tire ST205/75R14, sits nice behind my 4 runner.
Will fly up some photos soon. Will be heading south along the I75 in the next few days, cheers and happy holidays!

Sounds good. I'm looking to do some work on my Burro and been leaning towards the Flexiride axle. Also looking to replace the frame.

I just put 205/14s on my 1977 Trillium 1300 myself. Since the axle is original, figured a new one would be coming in the near future.

Here's a few shots of the new axle and tire clearance, cheers, Jorge.

I got the axle from CERCA in Ontario, Canada, my trailer is a 1300 so I don't have the specs for a 4500, you should probably have it measured regardless.
Here's a link to Cerca/Flexiride, FLEXIRIDE AXLE
I got the #7 2200lbs w/ electric brakes.
Just did 5000kms to Florida and back, worked perfectly, cheers, Jorge.
