Escape Hatch Hardware

Hi, I have a 13ft '81 Scamp. I'm looking for replacement hardware for the 18 x 25 hatch, like this one:https://www.scamptrailers.com/produc...-vent-complete
I just need the arm and little gear box I think.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried vintage trailer .com or Scamp yet? Unfortunately our old boler hardware will not fit your cap size as our old caps are 14 x 14. A scamp user may be able help club has many.

escape hatch

Hi, in January I purchased a full escape hatch from Scamp Trailers.
Turns out all I needed was the plastic cover, so I have a brand new alum. frame, screen, crank assembly (the crank handle does not come with it).
So if you or anyone is looking for an escape hatch without the plastic cover, let me know, as it is still in the org. box and I don't have room for storing it.

This worked for us. The difficult part was getting the little wheel into the track.

Did this a few years ago on our 2008 16' Scamp. I remember I had to remove the screen to be able to access and maneuver the little wheel into the track. The screen was removed by taking out either a long screw or a long rigid wire from the hinge side (don't recollect exactly what), which was accessed from one of the ends. It was pretty easy. Bought the crank handle from a regular RV shop while we were on the road traveling. Hope this helps.
