Uhaul 16 foot

The 16 foot Uhaul that was on Albany NY craigslist last November is back on there again, located in Lake Luzerne NY and price is $4995. It was posted here previously but got archived, apparently because the ad expired. It's still there waiting for a new owner. We had thought of looking at it but it's over the weight limit of our Honda, and my truck uses too much gas for long trips.

Someone should snap that up. Bruce from CN? Here's your chance for a VT.

The VT 16 is still on craigslist. It's back a few pages now, they haven't bumped it up, but since the ad is still there I assume it has not sold. We were in that area yesterday but forgot about it until we got home. Thinking about calling on it, but really don't need it. Hoping someone buys it so I'll stop thinking about it.

Go for it. It is amazing how much that additonal space seems to add. Plus, having a bathroom is really nice. We went from a 13' Burro to this.

We would rather see one of these rare campers in the hands of someone who cares about Uhauls rather than someone who will mod it beyond recognition.

We decided to go look at it today, and after a 75 mile ride to the sellers' house it only took a few minutes to determine it was not for us. In all fairness to the seller I won't make any further comments here about this trailer. We will be making some more upgrades to our CT13 and keep it. Bob

Bruce, I think I bought the 16ft TV you referenced in Alb. If not I just bought a similar one in Alb on June 11. I have posted some pictures of it from when I bought it. Now it is in at a RV Service Center for cleaning and any service recommendations. Perk

Martin,
If you click on the name "Mary and Bob" in the left column, you can send Bob a private message about his concerns over that VT. I think he is trying not to make any public comments about its condition.

When I checked Craigslist, the Lake Luzerne VT is listed as sold at $4995. But there is a 23' UHaul truck for $4000! Did I go to the wrong listing? Albany area?
