Uhaul for sale

Posted on craigslist. It is a VT based on the shower/sink AC description.Seller thinks it is a CT based on shell length similar to the seller I bought mine from. Not a bad price for this rare bird if anywhere close to decent condition.

Looks like a great deal, unless there is something major wrong with it.

Is it really a VT? Doesn't look long enough, looking at the distance from the wheel to the door. Not quite a good enough picture, but a CT certainly doesn't have a shower. We went through Hollywood SC last year minutes after the local bank had been robbed, cop cars all over the place. Not sure if we will be through there when we head back north next week.

I wondered the same thing.

99% sure, look at the area under the AC much larger than the CT swamp cooler area. Also Mine did not come with a fridge so no vent on that side. My recollection of CT wheel well is it starts about 6" back from door, VT about a foot and a half which is more in line with the pict. if I had space to put it while working on it I would go look. even in bad shape you could shine it with red max or zep and make some $.

It's hard to see the hitch, but the shadow area looks like a surge brake, which is not on the CT. My vote is that this is definitely a VT. Good price, too! (Our VT came a bit cheaper, but we had to add the AC and numerous other things.) The weight in the description is not close, though. It should be about 1850 plus the weight of the AC and other stuff.

VT. I looked at images in the gallery. Just looks too long for a CT.

If someone wants a VT, get it quick.

We called the seller, didn't anyone else here do that? It has to be a VT even though he claims it is only 13 feet long and weighs 1250. Mary talked to him, he said it has hydraulic brakes, bed in front, three way fridge, bathroom on side, 3/4 size bed in rear. He said to see the layout look on the Scamp site, apparently thinks all Scamps are the same floor plan. Doesn't really want to sell it but needs the money for a cabin he's building in the mountains. Has had a lot of calls and is starting to realize it may be rare. It's not too far off our planned route home, but we're not interested enough to go look.
