Scamp tire replacement

I have a 1984 13' Scamp and need to replace the tires this year with new.
Any info on where and what to buy would be appreciated. The frame has not been replaced to make the RV body sit higher; therefore the present tires fit up under body of trailer about halfway. Thanks.

Assuming a tire size of 175/80X13, I like the Carlisle Radials. Their sport Bias Ply are fine too.

Look at Tractor Supply and Northern Tools. They sell high speed trailer tires mounted on great looking rims.

Attached is the milage log that for tire I have used for my 2011 SD 16-ft Scamp.


Best placed I have found to get tires is Discount Tires. Make sure that you have them balanced before installing them on the Scamp. Also good time to have wheel nearing repacked.

Yep, they're stock on Escapes. No issues reported.

I got mine at Costco last spring in preparation for a lot of Colorado camping and a four-week trip to the Pacific Northwest. They performed great. The one downside is that they have to be special ordered and that takes three or four weeks. The upside is the great price and the good service!
