17’ Casita Deluxe slow water flow kitchen

Greetings forum,

Using the campgrounds’ water hook-up, our kitchen sink only barely drizzles any water out of the faucet! Same thing with the hot water. It’s so slow we usually just use the bathroom, which has normal water flow.

Any help would be appreciated.
And BTW this is a new problem, as of a few months ago (we are camping monthly, religiously, in central Texas. We just came back from beautiful Perdenales Falls today, and can’t wait to return, since they have so many nice options for campsites.
And the camp hosts are pretty friendly.

Thanks,
IAN

Check the faucet aerator for debris. If that does not help check the filter insert (like the aerator) in the city water connection (which I think should be there). But if its only the one faucet, my money is on the aerator at that location.

Hmm... might need a new aerator!

Just tried it again after cleaning the mesh. Then put back together again and it’s still not doing well; here at home i turned on the water pump to test it.
Think I’ll take it to Lowe’s and look for a new setup. Unless I can find one specifically made for the Casita.

Put some water in the fresh tank and try it from there with your pump. That will let you know if it is at or near the fresh connection or after the pump.

How old is your Casita? 17' = 17 feet, '17 = 2017.

Check for kinks in the hoses if above suggestions don't fix your problem.

Try running the faucet with the aerator removed. That worked on mine so I put an aerator from my house faucet on and it solved the problem.
