SCAMP 13' Power Chord

Hi All,

The onboard 30 amp power chord from my scamp won't come out completely. It comes out for 6' or so and gets stuck. Do you know where to access the power chord housing to make sure the chord is loose?

Thank you so much for all your help

Open hatch cover under drivers side seat cushion and find out what's holding it up.

Yes , that area is also a storage area. You can put shoes, tools, small fans , heaters , or miscellaneous trailer stuff back there....but you run the risk of having stuff getting caught as the cord is pulled out. Just lift the pad and access door and see what the catch is...lol. It is a little harder if your bed is made up permanently. Just put less in that storage area...OR cut an access door to the outside. Small accessory doors are readily available. David ( Scamp 13' and Compact Jr 13' ) in Fresno and Sonora, CA.

Switch to a marine connection on the outside and store the cord in a zipper bag.
You can use the cord you have for the conversion.

I added a small door for access to the storage and moved the cord port and converted it to a Daniel Woodhead twistlock plug.
A marine port would accomplish the same thing.

If you don't have a water heater in that area you could use a larger port, the small one works fine for our use.

Access door to port side storage.

Good idea for the access door. Thanks,
Bill
