Hi everybody!
Getting a trailer hitch and brake controller installed on my Xterra on Monday. Making plans to visit a long lost college friend in New York - never been up that way - this summer (from Memphis, TN). Have saved up some money. Now just need my dream camper.
Let me know if you find it.....

Hang in there Joy, Hasn't been much going on in the sale dept. Not alot of people relish the thought of pulling out their egg, cleaning it up to put a 4 sale sign on it, in the winter months. Your getting ready so, you will be a head of the game when the right one comes along.

Or you could look at the one that the guy is charging more if you buy it now? But if you wait till spring he will take the price down! (sorry that ad has just baffled me)

The right one will come along when it is time, trust me it has been time for me over and over!

I am trying to decide which of mine to sell and I have to clean whatever one I decide,no good choices.

Robin

That one got my attention too.
The way I read it he will be raising the price now and again until spring when it would bring more anyway.
Makes sense for him but seems slightly unfriendly for him to say that here?

Ed

Hi Joy, wonderful that you have decided to go with an egg! I remember last year we had some discussions about the T[at]B. Seems to be a typical first trailer to look at for single moms, hehe! And then pretty quick one finds that fiberglass may be the better way to go. Good luck now in finding THE egg!

I don't find it odd... it's marketing! I once looked to buy a home and it was advertised the price was going to increase $5,000 a week until it sold. It was a really good buy at the time and the idea was to get people off the fence. Often time people will wait hoping prices drop, marketing this way let's people know it's not going to happen... it's going up. Because it's winter, the seller knows he can get more money for ready-to-go trailer in the spring... he's just letting everyone know that.

Donna, I completely see your point of view.

But having had some marketing experience, I believe there are better ways to "word" the Ad to increase interest versus, leave the buyer thinking hmmmmmm! LOL............ First off, it's in North Dakota in the winter, So the seller could have (threw out a bone to potential buyers) by saying, hey if your willing to venture to North Dakota I will sell it to you at the low, low, low, winter price of __________ Winter Blowout etc. Instead of the blatant, Your an Idiot if you don't take me up on my deal attitude cause come spring I am jacking up the price . I don't know, I just have issues with it!

Geezzz, Thank Goodness Ed and Donna could even understand my explanation about which Ad I was referring to, just went back and re-read my first post. I goofed that one up! Here I was worried about the way the seller worded his Ad and I can't even repeat his intentions correctly. But you knew what I meant! LOL,........ Yes, I had understood it as Ed did, I just didn't get it down on my post the way I understood it. Sorry!
