I seem to have gotten my uhaul at the right time. I saw uhaulcamper.com before I came across this forum, but it seemed empty... probably because it was freshly returned from the grave!
I'll be joining as well... but the community on this site is seemingly amazing, is anyone worried that two sites might 'split' an active community?
Disclaimer on the above concern: I just joined this site yesterday so I really don't know what I'm talking about.

No, the UHaul site is limping along with no revenue source, but there is some interesting information there.

Folks,
There is no competition and that site actually coordinates nicely with FGRV as, quite often, links there are to forums/documents here and vice versa. It is dedicated to the Uhaul CT and VT with great archive info, but, it is running without income, like Mr Tom said. It needs more volunteer moderators to help keep out the spammers and non-legit types. Contact Mr. Jim, the Administrator over there, if you want to help out a little. A number of moderators, to share the load, would make it an easy task and help keep the Uhaul site kicking (which is unique in itself!) Mr. Jim is also open for suggestions about improving the site or whatever...

Sounds excellent. I'll try to add any useful information I find during my own project, as well as some of my own mods and tweaks I'm planning that may suit other CT owners

Yes, the UHaulCamper.com site is back up and running.
If anyone needs access to the site, please contact me. You may e-mail admin (at) UHaulCamper.com or call Jim at: 562-546-2562.
In addition to offering to sell the website to the forum users, I approached Mike back in 2007 regarding selling the UHaulCamper.com domain to FGRV, but he wasn't interested either. :-/

You can find it right here: Fiberglass RV - Document Center - U-Haul
User's guide, parts manual, repair manual and other relevant stuff.

Hi: with the help of Don Trice I have been reactivated on UHaulCampers. Its so much easier when you stop struggling and just ask for help. Thanks all, UHaulCampers has a great deal of potential and I hope it works out. Mike

I'm glad you joined . A little action over there may attract more posters. As it is, it is in sort of a death spiral.

Mr. Bob,
I'll try to assist but can't guarantee it as the registration is shut down and I have to bypass it. I need the user name you will use and a password.
PM me with that info and we'll see how it goes...

I had given up on trying to get registered on the site. If it's going to be that difficult it's no wonder there's no one there. Don did get me registered.

Is there still no new registration on the website? I would love to join, but I don't see that as an option right now...

I will send a message to Jim to see if that feature has been disabled or is broken. I see that MaryandBob joined in September of this year, so it was working at that time.

Thanks. If he's the same admin as the Facebook page, then he is going to register me. Weird that they don't have that option...

It would be nice if their Facebook page was changed to a UHaul FB Group. They'd get a lot of activity. I'd even volunteer to be an admin (what the heck, I am admin on another couple of FB pages already )
