Hi Glampers!
It's that time to decorate! Currently many stores are featuring bedding, decorations, and organizers for the back to school and college dorm crowd. You can pick up some great bedding and decorating options by going to stores such as Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond (a bit pricey) and Walmart, etc. Look for "Bed-in-a-Bag" options as they typically are low cost and include sheets, comforter, skirt and shams. If you don't need the shams, fitted sheet or skirt you can easily sew them into curtains and/or small pillow covers. Everything is coordinated and costs are small.
Following are the typical sizes: (personally, I like the queen size because when it is folded in half it is 45" wide and fits neatly on top of the bed which I leave made up all day and rarely use the table set up. I have found it's always better to have too much comforter rather than too little)
- Twin set includes: comforter (68" x 86"), flat sheet (66" x 96"), standard pillowcase (20" x 30"), standard pillow sham (20" x 26"), fitted sheet (39" x 75" x 14") and bed skirt (39" x 75" with 14" drop)
- Full set includes: comforter (76" x 86"), flat sheet (81" x 96"), 2 standard pillowcases (20" x 30"), 2 standard pillow shams (20" x 26"), fitted sheet (54" x 75" x 14") and bed skirt (54" x 75" with 14" drop)
- Queen set includes: comforter (86" x 90"), flat sheet (90" x 102"), 2 standard pillowcases (20" x 30"), 2 standard pillow shams (20" x 26"), fitted sheet (60" x 80" x 14") and bed skirt (60" x 80" with 14" drop)
- King set includes: comforter (102" x 90"), flat sheet (108" x 102"), 2 king pillowcases (20" x 40"), 2 king pillow shams (20" x 36"), fitted sheet (78" x 80" x 14") and bed skirt (78" x 80" with 14" drop)
