Conventional wisdom, oft repeated on this forum, is to settle the trailer first, then get the right tow vehicle. Not sure I agree in every situation, but I hear it a lot.

In this case, the issue is distance, not lack of a vehicle, but I could see it happening. Could involving working with the seller to arrange temporary storage, renting a tow vehicle, or paying someone to tow or ship. I bought two travel trailers in my younger days to live in. I did not have a tow vehicle and paid someone to move them to an RV site. They were local purchases, so it was not hard.

Molded fiberglass trailers, especially rare models like this one, can be hard to come by and require creativity and flexibility to snag.

Whether to purchase the cart or the horse first is often a complex decision.

They delivered our new Escape last March.

Pardon for posting the obvious, but with a trailer of that age you need to verify recent tires and bearing lube. I'd worry about a contract hauler leaving it crippled beside the road.
