Tire Clearance on 16' 1990 Scamp

Hi All,

I have a quick question regarding normal tire to wheel well clearance on a 1990 Scamp. Everything is stock I believe. Tires are 13" and I think the axles is original. It is still welded on. The front section of the wheel well has less than a finger width of clearance to the outside of the tire towards the front of the wheel well. Is that normal? There is no evidence it has ever been a problem. It just seems closer than it should be but what do I know. I've never really seen or inspected another Scamp.

I took the trailer to a shop this week and had them do a safety inspection of the frame and axles and they didn't notice any cracks or think the axle was shot.

Probably normal, but...

What tire size/brand are you running?
Are the wheels Zero offset ordinary trailer wheels?

I purchased a few years ago and it had Dynatrail 175/80/13 tires already installed. I think they are 0 offset based on quick google search so probably I just need to forget about it and go camping!
