U-Haul Roof joint

Hi, just picked up a new addition to my fleet, a 1984 U-Haul. I have found the window info I needed thru a link from a Google search to this site. I am now searching for info on replacing the roof joint cover or molding. I am not having any luck navigating this site and find it very difficult. I am on the computer a lot for work so used to searching but this site is not so user friendly for me.
Is there anyone out there that can help me find a website that has the roof molding to cover the joint? Thanks, Jude

If you mean the outside joint, then you want trim-lok. It is available for a few different widths. This site has the "document center" where you will find a list of various manufacturers. If you click on "Uhaul" there is some information. The best source of info is in the Uhaul Facebook group. I'm no longer a member as we sold our Uhaul, but they have a "files" section with all kinds of good info there. What kind of window info did you find, it may be outdated.

perfect fit.com is a good source for trim-lock. It is listed under "weatherstrip / trim. They also have the weatherstrip and lock strip as is used on the original side and door windows.

Hi Jude, last year I replaced the TrimLoc on my 1982 13' Burro. Here's where I ordered mine. Oh, and if you call them, you'll find they are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Trim Lock is metal covered with white vinyl 1/2" high x 3/8" opening. This is perfect for U-Haul CT13 and VT16 exterior center trim; a CT13 takes about 25 Feet. A 13ft Burro takes 25ft.
