Hi forum folks, I have almost gutted a 79
Surfside all except the old ensolite insulation most of which is still in reasonable shape. I am considering taking it all out but debating on insulation replacement options. The reflect ex insulation looks like a good product, easy to use, but ideally requires an air space between the insulation and trailer shell therefore the need for studs of some kind. Considering small wooden studs shaped to interior wall then adhere using epoxy. Studs will provide a surface to staple insulation and wood panelling etc.
Any thoughts from restoration vets out there? Can I expect condensation on the inside of the trailer shell? Is this a valid idea?
