New Ventura Owner

Just picked up a 76 Ventura that was a single owner unit! I have been looking for a small camper to tow behind my Element for awhile and had never heard of this model before but when it popped up for sale locally I jumped on it. It's it fairly good shape comparing to what some others have had to start with on their projects so I am blessed in that regard. First order of business is to redo the floor as it feels soft for me (I'm a fairly big guy) and want to firm it up. I will be taking all the interior out and seeing what's underneath the panels over the winter to hopefully enjoy it for next camping season!

Seeing as how I live in Northern BC I have a long winter ahead and what will be plenty of time to tinker.

Look forward to the fun.

Thanks guys. I will for sure get some pics of the adventure along the way. I think my first order of business is to inspect the trailer brakes and change the plug to a 7 way so that is more common with the majority of vehicles today. Depending how the wiring looks I may just do a complete rewire.

First walk around video! Also took it on its Maiden voyage behind my Element. A short trip but even without the trailer brakes hooked up it was felt like no problem at all.
