Rock Guard on 1300 13' 1974 Trillium Trailer

Hi Everyone:

A wind storm pulled at our rock guard covering the front trailer window and basically pulled out all of the screws into the frame and bent the top of the aluminum rock guard frame. Any ideas on repair places or replacement?

Thanks

Katrina

Katrina, There are not many options. The materials that the rock guard are made of are not manufactured anymore. People frequently loose their rock guard while on the road. It flys open, and is gone.
Tom Young sells Trillium parts on this web site:
https://trilliumrv.wordpress.com/parts/
He sells a rock guard, with hardware, for $485 usd, plus shipping. Not the original look, but functional.

I may be interested in purchasing your broken one. PM me.

Karina, where are you in BC. Might be able to take a look and make suggestions.

:remove your rock-guard gel coat holes then go to a place that does truck spray on rock-guard liners in PU boxes this will protect your FG trailer for ever as it is tougher than most items on the market today. Rocks bounce off same for gravel.

stude, she is talking about the rockguard over the window. Probably not a good idea to spray over that.

your 100% right on that. When I did my MH I did the whole front end as we drove a lot of gravel roads so front, sides and rear, installed heavy mudflaps like Big Tractor trailer kind, I did not do this to our previous C and B and they got beat up over the years but found out this Truck Box stuff is pretty tough so did 2 coats to the MH's after that. I'm almost ready to do our new to us Class A.
