76 Boler Want to Use Scamp cushions

I have seen a number of earlier posts back as far as 2009, where people have used the scamp cushions in their bolers, they had very nice patterns. I have been to the scamp site and the choice now is not so nice. 3 solid plain colors. Has anyone recently use these to replace their boler cushions? or were you able to purchase the material? I am planning on removing the top bunk an putting in a front dinette, so will have to have 2 seat cushions and backs. Any suggestions?

We are just in the process of making our own cushions and covers. We bought the fabric at Interior Delights, upstairs at Fabricana in Coquitlam.

Home Décor Services | Fabricana

We are waiting for delivery of the foam which we bought from Walmart as a 4" mattress topper. When it arrives we will set it on the floor and sleep on it for a night to see if it passes the grade. If it passes we will cut it up for the cushions, we still have the old cushions as patterns. The foam shop wanted $785 just for the foam. Walmart was $417 delivered for 1 king and 1 twin. Top bunk has been deleted

We had ordered the fabric swatches from scamp and we were not impressed with the material either that they used, it is very thin.
So we went to our local upholsterer and he sewed up real nice cushions, with good quality fabric and new foam.

When you order new cushions from scamp the shipping to Canada was outrageous.

When we need new covers for our cushions my wife. Contacted a local adult education facility that offered upholstery classes
We stopped by one day and one of the students was looking for a project
Bingo she made cushions/curtains/ and even a porta potty cover for price of materials/ we also gave a nice $ donation to the school
We were very happy w/results...just a thought

Scamp Cushions

We've just bought 3" medium/high density foam from an actual mattress maker in Toronto for our '79 Scamp - $350 cash. He cut it in an hour. Now i'm looking for an upholsterer who does a quality job in the GTA area. Any thoughts? Much appreciated
