1982 Burro

My wife and I just finished remodeling a 1982 Burro and thought I’d share. We took her out for her maiden voyage and had a blast! Click image for larger version

Gorgeous

Wow. Really lovely job on that interior. Minimalist and beautiful. Do you have before interior pics? I saw the outside pics you posted when you picked it up.

What a great looking build. So nice and bright and clean. I bet every time your family steps inside they are bursting! Good luck And many happy camping trips. I love my boler, but the double wall fiberglass in the burro is very appealing.

Removing the dreaded carpet on the wall was a chore for sure and I would have done it differently if I had a do-over.

Bunch of good looking people! My boler had carpet up the walls, under and behind cabinets and benches. So gross! It was damp and mildewed. Two weeks and tons of bleach, grinding, scraping, and dump trips. Worth it.

What an incredibly beautiful job you have done! My first egg was an '81 Burro which I had much fun restoring, but it never got to looking as great as yours does.

Any advice on what to do differently? I am about to undertake that chore solo.
