Amerigo info please

Hello everyone,
Over the years we have had a Boler, Scamp, and now a wonderful Trillium. As many of you can relate to, when a trailer shows up for sale in the neighborhood you just have to check it out! Well, tomorrow I am going to see an Amerigo. Are these trailers OK? What to be on the lookout for? Good points? Weak points? Not sure of the age, mid '70's perhaps?
Let me know your thoughts, thanks!Click image for larger version

The man said around $3500. I have not seen the inside yet, but as you can see from the tire, it has been sitting awhile. I will know more tomorrow.

The Amerigo FG16's were only built for 3-4 years in the early 70's and were, for a while, a Stewart Gardner Company (Sunrader Toyhomes) and then a joint venture with KOA (Kampgrounds of America). I have looked at several and, while they have an excellent floor plan, I have yet to find one for sale in decent condition.

You need to know that several years had a combination Stove/Oven/Space Heater, called a Duett, that was ordered recalled due to co leakage when used as a space heater. BUT: As there is also an optional 11,000 BTU furnace listed, not all FG-16's had that unit installed.

There is a sales literature in the documents section somewhere
