Suport post in Bigfoot 17G
Does anyone know how critical the post holding up the left side a cabinet is? Is it structural?
Has anyone removed it in his/her trailer.
My trailer is a 1995 17G.

Basic rule of thumb on molded FG trailers. Everything is structural.
And anything going vertically floor to ceiling, in an area without anything similar nearby? More so. Even horizontal stuff can provide structural strength.

support post in BF 17G
It definitely supports the upper cabinet/bunk and most likely contributes to the support of the AC.
