So the roof is supposed to have a positive arch to it and not a depression? I just purchased mine and it seems like my roof dips from front to back. I'm 6'3" and my head "just" touches the roof so if it's supposed to be rounded left to right and front to back that would make my day.

Berz out.

A combination of gravity and heat interacting over a long period of time with a thermoformable material. That is what you get with vintage stuff, even vintage people have skin coverings and frames that sag over time.

Should have a gentle arch from side to side. No arch front to back...

When I got mine it was shaped like a bowl with all water draining into the broken roof vent

I think I resemble that. I know I feel that way!

Never posted finished pics!

Hey all. Just realized I didn’t ever post finished photos. Here they are! Still a few finishing touches not in the photos...propane tank, spare tire, curtains...but you get the idea

It’s looks amazing! Thank you for sharing. I must say I’ve consulted and read/reread this thread multiple times. If anything it’s been a source of encouragement. It’s been an incredible learning process... we bought a 73’ in the spring. It’s turned into a complete redo as we discovered water damage and other issues.

Did you have any trouble separating the body from the frame?
I have a 1972 that needs a new floor.
Thanks
Tom
