$2500.

I bought this project Boler in 2003. The previous owner had it all pulled apart inside. I did upgrades to it in 03/04 and it has been sitting since 05 and is now waiting for a new person’s TLC to finish it off. Here’s what I did:

New tires (only 3 trips on them)
Caulked and filled all ensolite seams and painted interior with HP2000 industrial (latex based) coating (VERY durable finish and does not crack or chip if ensolite is flexed.)
New cushion foam throughout.
New cushion covers, marine vinyl one side, plush upholstery grade neutral fabric on top and sides with piping to all edges (this was a labour of love!).
New lino flooring and rubber base, patched some deteriorated plywood flooring at the doorway.
New door gasket seal.
New roof vent (needs interior trim installed).
New closet door (lightweight MDF frame w/ Lucite panel insert)
New plastic laminate table with PVC edging (professional millwork) using original table hardware.
New window screens and new rubber inserts to jalousie side windows
Patch welding to frame.
New tongue mounted jack stand.

Exterior had screw holes and some cracks, enough that this project will need to be a painted finish rather than a gelcoat restoration. I patched with Marine Tex.

Includes loose furnace (I never had it installed, not sure of operation), stovetop (installed, but as I never had propane hooked up, couldn’t tell you the working condition)

This egg will need:
- Exterior prepped and painted (remove & reseal windows at same time).
- Frame, axle, springs, propane system etc. should be examined (I would assume it is all original except for the welding I had done)
- Fridge or icechest, water tanks, battery, anything else I didn't think of
- and a new owner who will love it as much as I do!

I am going to try and post photos. Please PM me with your phone no. if you need more information.

Thanks!

(Note that the fridge you can see in the photos is no longer there, and the furnace is not installed, just set in place in the pictures)

Lainey,

It looks like you've done a really nice job on the mods to your Boler. Good luck with your sale!

Thanks Jeanne! Hopefully someone will be interested in this unit soon before I become nostalgic again and take it off the market (like I did 2 years ago)

Anyone on the board ever do any Boler mods for hire? That would be another way I could go...

SOLD!

This unit is now sold (unfortunately it did not go to a member here, but I hope the new owner enjoys it!)

This must be what it is going to feel like when my son grows up and leaves home. I had a tear in my eye watching her go down the street.
