Removing blackout paint on boler window

I’ve heard that even normal cleansers are too harsh on boler windows and not sure what I can use to remove blackout paint used by previous owner. Any suggestions? Thx

You should be able to use any of the “Headlight Restoration” products that use fine sandpaper, finer sandpaper, polish, then a protection product.

Curtain rod for small boler windows

One more question ...
Where can I get the little curtain rod that has a hook on the ends and is really just a wire covered in white plastic? Sorry I don’t have a photo. The hooks grab the metal edges of the tiny windows.
