Boler custom cabinet support

Thought I'd show off my cabinet support off because I think it turned out pretty good. I've got a 1973 boler that never had a support for the upper cabinet so decided to drag my forge out on a nice sunny day and went to work.

Adds a nice custom touch and it was fun to build too!

Thanks Ronald! It was great to see it turn out in reality as I had pictured it in my head (mostly)

That’s really clever! Now if you can integrate a spice rack on it [emoji16]

Spices shall be stored in a cool, dark place.

No spice rack but I'm thinking I might add a couple of extra branches for dish towels

I REALLY like that! A graceful and functional sculpture.
I would like something like that instead of the 1970's style twisted bars in my Scamp.

That was my thinking. Something a little more stylish than the standard twisted flat bar

Nice! And the rest of the boler looks beautiful as much as I can see. Love to see pictures of the rest!

That's fantastic. Love it. You should consider making a run and selling them.

Here's mine. Simple and functional, but I like it.

Cool support Bob. Ironically, I was thinking of something similar but instead using a uniquely shaped tree branch. Something with nice colour and character.

Tell me about your counter top. Looks like plastic laminate with a substrate below? How did you attach it?

And also your wire chase on the exterior wall. Material? Attachment?
