In this case, the OP is trying to understand the differences between a 16’ and 17’
Casita, and there are many. Some are related to size, but many others are a result of the 17’ being a completely new and more recent design. I understand the frustration of making comparisons because all the photos on the website are of the 17’ model, so it’s hard to compare online.
The differences are best assessed in person, anyway.
Casita can arrange a demo by a nearby owner through their referral program. To make it apples-to-apples, ask to view 16’ and 17’ versions of the same model. You might have to drive further to see a late model 16’er.
Clearly “bigger is better” for most recent
Casita buyers, but the rule doesn’t apply universally.
Scamp still sells more 13’ers than either of their larger models, so you’re in good company, Byron. “Small is smart” works for me, too!
