96' Scamp Deluxe- Anyplace to get this Cord Port and Cabinet Latch?

Hello all, I just picked up a 96' Scamp 16' Deluxe. Having a hard time tracking down replacement for these two particular parts. Anyone have any ideas were I might find replacements?

1. This plastic latch hold for one of the cabinets. A couple of them in the camper are broken, and apparently Scamp has not used this style in sometime.

2. Cord Port, I know there is a newer style, but I believe the rivet holes don't line up and would prefer not to drill new ones.

Thanks much for any ideas.

1) Perhaps if you were to check a "place" that carries a lot to cabinet
parts/ latches, you might find something the same or a piece you could modify to work.
2) Will the new style cover fit if you were to drill new holes in it and use the existing drilled hole in your Scamp. If so, use the newly drilled holes, attach to Scamp, and use a white filler to fill the original holes in the cover piece.

At 20+ years old the best you can do is a close substitute. Many cabinet latches will work and look original, but the cord hatch will be a little harder to find Etrailer has a big selection of them,

Try a cabinet shop or a bigbox hardware store like Menards.
Otherwise you will have to change the latch (not difficult).
I'll look around to see if I have one.
You don't need to worry about the cord port, the newer design can conceal the old flange. The putty will seal it and new rivets in new holes will be a better repair anyway.

Or you might take this opportunity to replace the cord port with a marine type sealed cord port with a separate cord....
Similar to the one below...

The mod will re-use the stock cord and just make it detachable.
I like the detached cord. It gives me some options.

Cabinet catch

The cabinet catch you show is a commonly used catch. The other half is a C shaped piece of metal that goes over the top and bottom of the plastic piece. These are available at almost any hardware or home center in your area. Probably a dollar or less The plastic half breaking is common if the metal part hits it wrong. Pick up a few and toss in the parts drawer in the camper. BTW you'll get both halves of the catch when buying.
I see a lot of choices on cord ports available, like a kid in the candy store. Just pick, NO, not your nose!

We've used this Marinco Parkpower unit on both our Scamp13 and our more recent Scamp16D-A. It fits the hole in the fiberglass without cutting into the fiberglass.

9 out of 10 mice prefer the hatch style cord opening.
