Clear or translucent Belly Band Trim for Trillium 1300?

I love the look of the LED strip in the Armadillo trailer belly band trim. I want to do the same thing for my 1975 Trillium 1300.

Does anyone know where I can find a clear or translucent insert?

If I can't find it I think I can chop up some larger vinyl tubing with some knives fixed in a jig, but I would rather just buy it.

What about keeping the original belly band and adhering a led strip to the bottom of it? It would be hardly noticeable and give a similar effect. Plus you can control the colors on several led strips. Not exactly the same but this is something I've been looking into myself.

aw, heck, you should go whole hawg, and use addreessable RGB LEDs, so you can program chase light patterns...

Yeah the plan is full addressable. I want music sync, and also make it function as signal and running lights.

Also lighting for the propane and battery area

those full addressable strings use a LOT Of power. The ones I've seen, each R/G/B LED triplet is 3 watts when its full on white, and there's like 60 LED triplets per meter, so thats like 180 watts per meter.... my kid's truck in that video, he's got banks and banks of 50A 5V power supplies, and all the data multiplexors for them. its all run from an iPad over wifi. the truck has a 5KVA diesel inverter generator onboard to power the sound and lights. not exactly something you'd want to run from a 12VDC battery system.

he's also experienced a lot of technical issues. he goes to the desert with that rig and the dust storms generate so much static, they fry strings regularly.

Addressable like the ws2815 have reduntant data lines, so if one fails, it can skip past a failed module, so you only lose a pixel.

Idle power is bad, so you definitely want to switch the power off for zero light.

18W/m at full brightness, so 180W total. It's high, but certainly doable. I would prob never go>50% brightness, and have option to only light one side.

18W/m sounds like lower density LEDs, which tend to look spottier
