Plumbing vent

Plumbing vents are not specialized Parts on a casita there are four different types you can get them at any RV lights or Camping World they're probably put in with pop rivets on a casita you can do the same or you can get screws for them when you take the old one off make sure you clean the surface very well get some Putty tape to go underneath the vent then put screws down then find some self-leveling sealer White and reinstall very easy job nothing special About a plumbing van standard Vance cost about $3 you want to contact me you can I want to Casita looking for a third Anthony sharwood 662-380-0655 be glad to help have a great day

Battery Compartment Vent

On my Casita, that cover is used as a vent to the battery compartment. My battery is in the driverside storage beneath the dinette/bed. and there is no outside hatch to access the battery. You may want to add an insect screen between the inner and outer parts of the vent.

Are you the Lars we knew from the Potter group? We drove down to Delaware to meet you when we bought our boat?

I believe that delux means it has captains chairs so the dinette doesn't make into a bed, like my '93 FD. I'd pipe in on the discussion but mine doesn't have that vent. I do have a bathroom btw.

Deluxe means bath. Freedom means captain chairs, Spirit is side dinette, etc.

Thanks I'm really just learning about these. I picked up mine last year intending to use it all summer then do some work over the winter. Had a health challenge so everything got pushed out. I've been making up for lost time by camping every week this summer. Usually only a day or two, up to 5 days boondocking. She's been a ton of fun so far.

All deluxe Casitas have a bathroom. If no bathroom than it is a standard.

Did you find a replacement? If so, where?

I have this very same issue.

Thanks
