Smile Insulating the Perris Pacer 1985

After ripping out the rat fur carpet, I have proceeded to use 3M 77 spray adhesive to secure panels of Reflectix insulation (looks like chrome bubble wrap) to the walls. So far so good! Anyone have suggestions on whether I should cover the Reflectix with fabric or thin wood as the final finished interior? Progress everyday

Perris Pacer question

Hello, Can you post more pictures? I'm almost at that point with my Perris Pacer! Was this easy to do?
All the best, Monte

Update::insulation

So I'm from Michigan and it is reallllllllly humid right now. I think the humidity is making the 3M 77 spray adhesive difficult to adhere to the curved parts of the ceiling (where it defies gravity). This step has been the most challenging and expensive part of the renovation thus far. If you're a novice like me, expect to have to do things twice because there is room for error/learning especially considering the weather while you work. This can make you tired, sweaty, and high on fumes (be sure to wear a mask and have a fan blowing while you work). Good luck to everyone and your projects ♡

Insulating the Perris Pacer 1985

Sure hate to say it now, but from most accounts I've read (and a look at the 3M application chart), 3M77 is not strong enough for this application. 3M90 is the one you want in the 3M line, or use a professional grade automotive headliner adhesive.

Pretty sure if you do some searching you can find specific product recommendations on old threads. Use the "Site Search/Google" option at the bottom of the search menu.
