Frederick,
Ahhh..., the life of wretched excess It takes awhile to download on our old computer system, but there is certainly a vast difference from "Nuestra Casita".
Thanks for sharing how "the other half" lives. Now we'll go back to wading through the snow so we can sleep in "Nuestra Casita's" nice warm bed. We are at least fortunate to have that option during the remodel of our humble abode.
The entire scenario of such vehicles is almost beyond imagination, isn't technology wonderful?
Sure a long way from prairie schooners! Makes me feel ancient when I recall a customer showing me her birth certificate listing "Indian Territory"(before Kansas was a state) as her place of birth. She travelled many months in a covered wagon. What a comparison between modes of travel.

I wonder how you empty the porta-potty...

Do you suppose they come with staff?

Did you catch:

I think Gina should petition her company to obtain one for her extended out-of-town work excursions. I know her puppies would enjoy it A Lot.

My goodness, how do they drive that thing? It's bigger than my house. Why don't they just get a hotel room??

Trailer: Boler (B1700RGH) 1979
Posts: 5,002
At the risk of being branded a heretic, I will suggest that this design is not as outlandish as the discussion so far suggests. It should be quite driveable, since it is simply a special-purpose semi-trailer of routine size, and likely quite moderate weight. It is not much more expensive than the typical high-end bus conversion, is not a lot bigger than a 45-foot high-floor bus, and yet may be more functional for the target audience. It can be hauled by any conventional tractor (truck) of the appropriate class, and as a trailer has the advantage (over a motorhome) of not tying up that vehicle when parked (as it would be for long stretches of time).

I believe that while the floor area is larger than some houses (due to the two floors), the plan area (length times width) is exceptionally small by home standards.

Of course it's not our kind of trailer, but the vast majority of travel trailers sold today are quite large compared to ours... this is just the extreme case.

Interesting link. Thanks, Frederick.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

I doubt that Will Smith drives it himself...
