Hi everyone,

Well we finally picked up our Escape 5.0 on Friday, July 13.

Reace really out did himself with this unit. We had seen the Escape 17' but not the finished 5.0 unit other than pictures from Ian and Paddy.

Let me tell you that the pictures do not do the trailer justice. It is a beautiful unit and we are so pleased with it. Reace and his crew are very meticulous when building these units and quality seems to be the priority not quantity. When we first went to Escape Trailer Industries for a tour we saw the beginnings of the 5.0 and how Reace while designing it listened to what fiberglass trailer owners liked and disliked about their units and improved from that. The landing gear which operated from 12V power works gread and is quite impressive.

This is our first ever RV and Reace went through everything with us.

We are now on our way to Alaska and enjoying the scenery. You can't even tell you are pulling the 5.0 it is great.

Thanks you so much for the kind words.

Sorry for the delay in replying to any of your questions. We did not have WiFi for the last few days.

We are near Tok, Alaska at a campsite. I must say our 5.0 survived what we think is the greatest test of all for an Rv the Alaska Highway.

We can't say enough about it. So easy to tow you can't tell it's back there. Reace really made a unit that meets our needs. We just love it.

I'm afraid that I haven't figured out how to add pics yet. I tried a few times but got error messages therefore I have given up for now.

Regards,

Georges & Cecile

Ahhh, your trip sounds WONDERFUL (except for the Alaska Highway, part, but that's to be expected, right?)

There are a couple of topics that may help with the photo uploading in our Basic Website Tutorials forum. (Mostly, we have limited the size of the pics that can be uploaded to our server, to save space AND because some of our members don't have fast internet connections for looking at them.) Good luck with it.

I have a friend who lives in Tok. Say hi if you see him!!
