I was made an offer i could not refuse. With only 59 VT16 manufactured and about 30 known to exist, as a Uhaul owner, I knew it in the cards. Now time to modified the hell out of it.

I would not call a 8 day road trip pulling a trailer much fun at all, u do not get to see it all that way.
U missed all the best sites.

Sometimes you are time limited, where the opportunity requires long days driving or you miss out.

Back in my JOB working days, I took one driving trip to AK, drove from SC. I had one week's vacation, which meant nine days total (two weekends plus five weekdays). Spent less than one hour in AK, turned around and drove home. 8,000 miles in 9 days. Needless to say, I didn't see much! Border crossing back into Canada was kind of interesting. "How much time did you spend in Alaska?" "Less than an hour." "No one drives to AK from SC and spends an hour in AK." "I'm out of vacation." "Pull over there." They searched the heck out of my vehicle.

The road trip I am planning to AK in August will be five weeks long.
