Relic Trailers?

I'm curious as to why Relic trailers aren't one of the brands listed on FGRV. They appear to now be in production, and they are most certainly a molded fiberglass trailer.

per that website, they build one at a time, 4-8 weeks per build, so their max volume is 6-12 trailers/year. pretty easy to overlook that in the market, I'm pretty sure folks like Casita build 100s/year. does anyone know how many total they've shipped ?

No idea how many units, but I'd be surprised if it's more than 10 a year. The retro look though is quite appealing. I can just see that going down the road pulled by an old classic car with tailfins.

The reason I ask is, this topic was raised some time back, and if I recall, the rationale was that they weren't listed because they weren't yet in production - but now they are. I'm looking forward to one of their owners joining the forum.

Maybe someone from admin will chime in to what it takes to be added.

If you are referring to the listing of types of campers, my recollection is that that part of this website is difficult to update, and the Relic came out later than the change of website software. There are other brands missing also.

That would explain it. And you're right, there are other brands missing from the list, like the Armadillo and the Happier Camper.

Jaynebee, the owner of Relic Trailers IS a member of FiberglassRV. She hasn't been around for several years. BUT, if you want to read the beginning info, including pictures of the original "buy" check this thread: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...v-68715-4.html

Both Happier Camper and Armadillo ARE listed under the Manufacturers tab (top of this screen). Here's the link.

To get Relic included, we need a blurb, maybe a website address, and a logo pic. These are sometimes supplied by the manufactures who want their product included here.

If somebody wants to gather the info for us, we can probably submit to our tech guys and get Relic's "group" created - but, yeah, modifying the list on the home page is probably not happening. (Taking the home page down altogether is more likely than getting it updated, at this point.)

For an update, in less than 2 years of full production there have been over 170 HC1s built and on the road with many more on order probably more than many of the fg trailers listed on the home page. While not being listed on the home page is a minor annoyance to us we realize it is also a large task to change and will eventually be updated to include Happier camper.
