Glamping season

This year more than ever I am seeing our little campers merchandised in store displays. From a gift shop in MSP International Airport to this little shop in Lake City Minnesota we seem to be immortalized on everything up to and including salt and pepper shakers.
I knew we were a style but was unaware we were becoming a trend!

Yeah - I know what you mean - it is hard to be a trend.

The "kitsch"-ing of small campers has almost brought me to the point of wanting to buy one of these.

So many pictures all over Pinterest of tiny, nauseatingly cute "glampers," but does anyone's trailer actually look like those pictures when you're out camping for days or weeks at a time? Ours sure doesn't!!

Most of the merchandise I see is still more geared to the canned ham crowd, but egg trailers seem to be gaining ground.

Fads come and go. Meantime it's good for the value of used molded trailers. Except I'm not selling. And I do have a wall hanging of a small canned ham trailer hanging in our kitchen- given to me on Father's Day by my girls.

Am I the only one who won't be upset if I never hear the word "Glamping" again? Anyway, no chance of that.

Congratulations RV warming gift I was given. Looks kind of like a fiberglass trailer.
