how to repair a water leak on the side window of a 1995 bigfoot ,the leak is under the window. Thank you

Leaks can be tricky things to trace, but assuming you’ve got it figured out, the method is the same for all fiberglass trailers. Tape the window from the outside to secure it (rarely necessary but you don’t want it to fall), take out all the screws and work the window out. Scrape off all sealing material from fiberglass. Put down a layer of butyl tape. Install window.

Depends on whether you want to "patch" it, or reseal it completely.

I pulled all the windows out of my 89 Bigfoot. Repainted the frames cleaned it all up and redid the butyl tape. Once installed I also ran a tiny bead of Dicor around them for a belt and suspenders solution.

Do you have any side position lights near this window?
I had this problem and just before undoing the window I found that the position lights had lost their seal, the silicone was loose around them and when removing the lights there was water that the buthyl tape could not stop because it did not close the passage of the wires.
I properly filled the lights with buthyl, redone the gaskets around the lights and my problem disappeared.
Suggestion according to my experience ...
