EGGCAMPER has 4 holes in corners of floor.

Our new to us EGGCAMPER has a hole in each corner of the floor. As if to let the water out, you know in case some gets in :-)

Is this normal or is this from the previous owner?

Also looking toward winter I need to fill these or mice will find them. Anyone suggest anything to fill these with and should it be permanent?

The holes are about the size of pencil or slightly larger.

Our 2010 EggCamper has them, as well. They are "weep" holes to allow any condensation or spills to drain out before doing damage. We have a few spiders try to come in them, but we just spray a little bug spray around them and have never had any problem. I have fed a television coaxxial cable in through the passenger-side rear hole and fished it up between the inner and outer walls to the little angle ceiling cabinet above the bed where we mount our little 19" television. That way, I can mount an extension pole with an over-the-air TV antennae on the rear bumper for television reception inside. Works great and still lets any moisture weep out that hole if needed. It the holes worry you then you can do a simple modification.


I flared the end of some soft tubing, aluminum, copper etc are soft enough to flare. The flare keeps the tube from falling through the hole. Add a dab if caulk or epoxy under the flair to secure the tube in place. The length is cut so that it extends and inch or so lower than the bottom side of the trailer. Then taking a pair of pliers gently squeeze the bottom end so that instead of being round you form it to have more of a narrow slotted opening. That will still let the water drain out but the change in shape will keep wasp and such from going into the tube.

Lil Snoozy has holes for drainage, with short pieces of Pex tubing. 1” of screening is epoxied to the surrounding floor area to keep out unwanted critters.
