Camper is currently in Denver, CO area:

1984 Burro Camper -

Bought this as a project and fixed it up. Basically brand new condition. Original setup with couch/bunk bed in the front with fold down dinette in the back.

-Frame was repainted
-New wheel bearings installed and greased
-All three wheels sand blasted and repainted
-3 new tires
-Marine grade plywood floor installed and then glassed from both sides
-Repainted inside and out
-Original windows reinstalled with new butyl sealant
-New roof rent
-All cushions reupholstered
-New curtains installed
-New interior carpet
-Original two burner cook top reinstalled
-Original icebox reinstalled w/ a new stainless steel looking door
-Original cupboard doors reinstalled with new hardware
- LED under cabinet lighting w/ high & low settings
- Original sink reinstalled with new hand pump & the 10or12gallon water tank
- All the plastic water fill door, electrical connection door, and sink drain are new as well
-The entire propane system has new copper pipe right to the pressure regulator
-The Burro has a new catalytic propane heater installed see link for info Item
-I made a new table top with a map of the USA epoxied into the surface
-All exterior lighting brand new wired new to the tongue up front

-No air conditioner

I don't know what else to say about the camper. I am an engineer by trade that really enjoys projects. I rebuilt this for my family and we just finished a great camping trip in Rocky Mountain National Park and now I have been turned onto Volkswagen Camper Vans, so Burro is for sale.


Camper comes with a clean MN title in my name.

Looks great, really wish it were closer to Michigan so I could check it out in person. I'm not all that familiar with Burros, but know they are a classic FGRV.

Currently negotiating an offer on a house my sister and I are selling, if a deal works out, I could be ready to buy in the near future - getting excited now. Been looking for about 5 months now. Will keep this in mind if the house sells quickly, but expect it will be snatched up before then.

Just got home from Colorado last week, too bad I hadn't known about this, would have made a side trip.
