SOLD: Parkliner

ParkLiner. $16,500
PARKLINER (built late 2012) $16,500
A lightly used, but well loved, late 2012 Parkliner. This trailer has been my wife and my “home for adventures” over the past four years. Only used a couple times during the summer months, this unit is kept VERY clean (nonsmokers) and stored in a 12 ft X 21 ft carport when not in use. Everything in the unit is in like new condition.
An aspect we love about the trailer is the spacious interior despite its compact appearance. A 6’ 4” person can stand comfortably in this trailer and two adults can move around the trailer easily with the doors closed.

A few additional pictures.

Our 30 amp and cable plugs. They are in the door we used to pull the power cable out and have it go through that hole on the bottom right of the door that creepy crawlies could climb. Uh, no thanks!

The black/gray water tank outlet. We needed a new tank, so had a local family-owned RV place install this one with a much improved outlet from what the stock was. The picture is a bit busy because of the step stool on the other side and the cap connector. Just a bad pic I guess. From my perspective, this is a 200% better set-up than what we had.

Also, for those not familiar with these trailers, the rear 2 inch hitch. Don't mind the dirt spatters on the bumper. Rain has been this summer's middle name!

Any questions, let me know. Thanks.

It's around 2000#s dry, maybe 2100. Never weighed it. We pulled it with a 2013 Escape with a 3500# tow capacity, and would also bring kayaks and bikes. Never a problem.

A few more pics

Something I've been thinking of as I take pictures for folks is how great a deal a trailer that has been out and proven is over about anything brand new. this baby could be hauled away today and work fine.

Anyway, more pics. First 6 or 7 are ones of stuff we added.

That's the small shelf I mentioned earlier above the inner bed. Sized for a small book, kindle or glasses and right next to a light. Used every night we camped!

Next is door openers we installed on most all upper cabinet doors. Much more convenient than floppy doors!

Next is the power jack. Too much tongue weight for this old guy, but a wonderful convenience for anyone.

My "stinky slinky" tube made out of white vinyl 5 inch square fence post, with caps with catches. You can access the stinky slinky from either side. The yellowed tube above was what the original very, very cheap stinky slinky came in. We use it now for gloves and paper towels.

TV bracket and cable in first pic, and next pic is of the outlet I installed in the cabinet closest to the bracket for 110V power for the TV. (We used the TV once, when we were threatened by a power thunderstorm in the Adirondacks one vacation. Worked great.)

Next are the sink and stove covers that go with the trailer. These are things very rarely used, at least by us. The stove might have been used 3 times, the sink often with just cold water. We hardly every used the propane hot water heater. Microwave was usually used for storage...

The table. We rarely ate inside as we have a Clam 1440 screen tent that we would put up against our Gander Mountain cover we adapted to be our awning. The Clam was large enough for tables for our grills and such, or a campground picnic table.

Finally, wheels and tires. I should have cleaned them a bit better this morning, but all is in great shape, including the wheel bearings.

Interested in your Parkliner

My email address is patrmac04@gmail.com and I am located near Boston. I am interested in your unit and would like to chat some more if you could email me. I don't feel comfortable sending over a phone number etc here.

Thanks,

Patrick

Parkliner still for sale folks

Patrick decided not to come look which is just fine. Everything works on this trailer. Hot water heater was used once or twice and has a new element. Stove was only very rarely used. We tend to live outside and have a bunch of things to not only cook in but to do dishes with.

This is a great trailer only very lightly used.

Once again, a proposed buyer just let me know they are not coming to look at this marvelous trailer.

Parkliner has announced they are not making any new trailers till 2020. This is a golden opportunity to own a trailer that looks and performs as new. There is nothing comparable out there.

Thanks Adrian! Can't make it to Niagara this weekend unfortunately. Had a family deal in Massachusetts come up. Just the way things go sometimes.

Thanks,

Frank

Careful out there folks. I just got a Cashier's Check from the Ukraine from some dude proposing to buy the Parkliner. I'm the wrong guy to run a scam like that on. I've been in commercial lending for decades and can spot a bad check. Pretty much, if it comes from the Ukraine, you can bet it's a scam!

Oh well. Next?

I guess some folks aren't aware of how much interior space there is in these trailers. Here's a minute long video mostly of how much space is in this trailer...

Hi Frank, I wonder if your Parkliner has separate gray and black holding tanks, and how much fresh water is on board?
Very cute!

Thanks!

From what I know, all Parkliners were made with a combined 30 gallon gray/black water tank, vented to the roof. I'm pretty sure the fresh water tank is 15 gallons.

Also, this Parkliner got a new wastewater tank a few years ago. It's a long story, but the outlet sure works a lot better than the old one.
