Painting Burro- best approach?

My Burro is pealing & fading on top & side & one end. The quotes I’ve gotten are ridiculously expensive (I live in Colorado). I want to keep it the same color. How do I match color or do I just do the top coat that makes it shiny? Anyone else in Colorado has a recommendation for having it done somewhere economically. I’ve seen the posts for white camper exterior where they put on a top coat. I really need some recommendations. Thanks

Get a quote to just spray paint it, and you do the prep work. All paint jobs take far more prep than the amount of work spray painting. Also use a good quality paint. If you do the sanding and taping, I wouldn't think it would be o expensive to get a body shop to shoot the paint. Worth checking into, to see if it is within your budget.

Best approach is from the sides or front, as burros can kick.....

Automotive paint is very expensive, unbelievable really. Various people have repainted with a marine top coat or similar, roller and brush. Not perfection, but doesn't break the bank either.
