Not that it would be an idea for our eggs but a friend of mine "rust proofed" his Skipjack boat trailers frame on the inside. It had a 2x4" tube frame and he welded the ends up, added a threaded plug and filled the frame rails with used oil. Haven't seen him in years but sure hope if he sold it, he told the buyer about the oil .

Wondering if anyone on this thread ever found out or knows of the trailer builder in Surrey that Malow is talking about. Thinking about swapping out our frame but don’t fancy going to Calgary to get a new one from Trillium.
