My first thought is why not clean them in place? Wipe gently with a damp, slightly soapy cloth from inside and outside. My experience with screens is to leave them in place as much as possible. They’re easy to tweak during removal and re-installation.

On my Scamp, they slide toward the center to free up the radius end. Then you can either push up or down (depending on which side has the springs) and swing the other side out. Sliding without removal allows you to clean most of the track. If your Bigfoot has radius sliders, they may work similarly.

Thanks for the warning. That is what I did just wipe them in place. It's just can't get to part of my window to clean with screen in the way. Guess I'll just live with it. gail

I just cleaned the windows on my 2008 Bigfoot yesterday. The way to clean the inside screened part fully open the window and clean that section and then lock it back in place and slide the screen over the latch to make the other part accessible. You have to pull the screen out a little just to get over the latch and after that it should slide easily.

As Jon in AZ says. In our Bigfoot the springs are small springy plastic thingees. The springs can slide sideways also so be careful not to lose them and put them back when replacing the screen.
