New Drain Outlet: Hubs replaced the drain outlet to the exterior (Trillium 4500) because it was leaking. The one he built is heavier duty. We could of used a unit we found online except that the smaller size meant having to do a
fiberglass repair on an unpainted trailer. He basically turned an inlet into an outlet.
He built the new one with parts obtained on Amazon.
He used the cap off a Valterra T-1020-1 Waste Valve Cap-3" with capped 3/4" GHT because it was less expensive than buying just the cap.
Then he purchased a Joywayus 1/2" NPT female 3/4" GHT Male Solid Brass Water tank connector threaded bulkhead fitting and a City Water Fill Inlet with Pressure Regulator from Shurflo #183-029-18.
He took the pressure reducing valve out of the Shurflo and drilled a hole to accommodate the Joywayus brass fitting in there with the two rubber gaskets supplied.
He then used a half inch hose barb to screw into the back and basically remade the original in a heavier duty unit. A bonus was the Shurflow unit covered all the holes from the original.
He did have to enlarge the hole from the original with a 3.5" hole saw using a predrilled board as a guide and using the drill in reverse for the entire cut which helped avoid major chipping of the
fiberglass.
Then he screwed it onto the side with stainless washers, bolts and nylock nuts, using Butyl Tape. Hope that explanation helps anyone attempting to create a new outlet drain. Cost was around $75.00. Happy to answer any ?'s
