Summer is over and I have no trailer from L’air Camper Company.
I placed deposit $6300cdn in january with may 3rd delivery date.
Beginning july I requested my deposit back in person from owner of L’air
Trillium Jim Ashton.
He refused it ( with cynical smile ).
I made it formal request and was refused.
My wife did send him an email asking about new delivery date. Till now no answer!
Before I left 5! voice messages in diffrent dept with no call back or anything.
Currently I’m waiting for Customer Protection Ontario ( after filing complain ) for agent to contact me.
There is facebook private group, but once you start posting inconvienient truths you’ll be kicked off and all your posts will dissapear.
Every fibreglass manufacturer is cutting waiting times (Scamp by a year), but this guy keep finding new and old excuses to keep customers in limbo.
I managed to buy ‚76
Trillium 4500 and made it road worthy in short period to go for our 10 booked trips.
But there is many customers with 2 seasons already gone without a trailer and still waiting.
Unbelivable behaviour from a guy who is in business for some years now making swimming pool liners.
Mostlikely to busy with them to make campers.
