Greetings! We just picked up a 1986 Scamp13 this summer. Its in great condition but we are giving it a little customization and some cosmetic improvements. So far we have replaced the carpet with some vinyl flooring, added a piece of retro laminate on the countertop and painted the cabinets. We are working on new cushions and a custom designed backsplash. Its been super fun and we are so excited to start it on our adventures.
We are looking for advice on a fan or cooler. It's worth mentioning that we plan to do
solar. What are our options for a cooler or a fan? Is there a unit that would hook into the top window?
Also, what are your tips on
solar? We do not intend to use the water pump system and we have a
propane stove so it's really for
lights, charging our phones and playing music and of course running a cooler/fan/AC of some sort.
And one last suggestion we are seeking is about lifting the
scamp. Wondering if anyone has had experience with this.
