Has the underbody/floor been replaced? Has there ever been mold/mildew?

The floor is solid this is not a completely rebuilt or restored bowler by any stretch it has been molested by many hands I pulled the shell off the frame which was solid so we painted it with PirmaTex Had a local welding shop install new Timbren axles suspension wheels and tires The elephant skin insulation was good And was all painted according to some instructions I found on the boler site It is currently only wired with lights for legality purposes blinkers etc. i’ll try to add some more pictures

any pics of the timbern axle install? We are considering going this route too.. Did you use the 2,000 lb axles?

I did go with the 2000lb axles I will tell you because of the nature of the frame on the bowler it’s not quite as straightforward as putting them under a standard trailer but I like these axles and I will use them on other projects I decided to add the structural crossbar just for some more strength probably didn’t need it The company is pretty cool you can call them and they’ll actually answer the phone Unfortunately they did end up sitting the wheels a little farther back in the wheel wells than I would’ve liked but hasn’t been a problem with towing or tongue weight I can literally pick up the tongue and move the trailer around by myself and do sometimes it’s easier than backing it into spots

I was very tempted to put 3500lb axles under this one but was afraid it would end up being too stiff also did not want to tempt myself to overload The frame (example fill the trailer up with too much stuff weight) because I had heavier axles under it

I don’t know I don’t see why not it has a valid Virginia title but you should definitely check locally No apologies needed about navigating the site I’m not very good at it either

I will admit the Eastern shore of Virginia is a little out of the way but we have wild ponies on Assateague
